Board Treasurer
Woodland Hills Home Owners Association, Inc.
Hello neighbors! I moved to the community in September 2021 and have loved being part of Woodland Hills for the past four years. I serve as your Treasurer and bring more than 20 years of accounting experience, with a major in accounting and a minor in Business Administration. A lifelong Montgomery County resident, I’m dedicated to listening to our community’s needs and working together to keep Woodland Hills safe, beautiful, and welcoming.
I strive to make sound, fair decisions by following our bylaws, Maryland laws, and considering all neighbors’ perspectives without bias. Outside of board work, I’m an animal lover—especially cats—and have even helped care for a few local strays by getting them neutered and vaccinated. In my spare time, you’ll often find me walking or hiking in the area, at the gym, visiting wineries, or cheering on the 49ers. I also have one adult daughter.

Hello Woodland Hills neighbors. I’ve been living in Woodland Hills since 2012, attracted by the nature and forest that surround us, reminding me of living in Sweden. I am recently retired from my research position at the National Institutes of Health and now I have a little more time to give back to our community, serving in the Board at Large position and chairing the Communication subcommittee.
I have lived and worked all over the world and learned that we all want to live in a place that is peaceful, clean, crime-free, and where members of communities feel supported. I am committed to prioritizing the issues our community brings forth and working with the Board to action issues in a timely and transparent way, while encouraging and including others to help serve on subcommittees to meet our common goals. On a personal note, I love to cook and entertain, bike, hike, dance, and cross-country ski (I secretly love winter!) and enjoy travelling.
